About The Event
I will be hosting an author table, featuring A Mighty Village: Reflections on Parenting, Disability, and Building Community. As the Founder of GiGi's Playhouse Tinley Park, this event allows me to merge two loves on one day...GiGi's and my memoir about life with Luke Edward Husar, my now 19 year old son, who just so happens to have Down syndrome. He was the catalyst for me wanting a GiGi's Playhouse to be located in the south suburbs of Chicago.
